Charmaine is a Queensland University of Technology graduate where she achieved Honours in her Bachelor of Laws degree and Bachelor of Applied Science.
Charmaine originally commenced practice as a Solicitor on the Sunshine Coast where she gained an excellent grounding in the often brutal world of Commercial litigation with very extensive exposure to the processes of each of the Supreme, District and Magistrate Courts and QCAT systems. This experience combined with her qualifications equip her with a remarkable ability to prepare and successfully deliver litigation matters in an extremely effective and efficient manner.
Always calm and well organised, Charmaine has a strong knack for taking even the most convoluted and complicated of problems down to simple components with practical solutions that can be implemented with relative ease.
At the firm, Charmaine is specialising in our Family Law and Personal Injuries litigation matters as well as continuing to pursue her strong interests in Elder law including advice on Retirement Village Residential contracts, execution and implementation of all necessary requirements for occupancy and facilitating the process of sale of occupancy entitlement on exit. Charmaine is also developing a very strong practice in the preparation of Wills and advice and assistance on Estate planning issues as well as the administration of Deceased Estates.
Charmaine has a strong interest in social justice having volunteered at QPILCH during her time at University.
